Reverse Declining Enrollment

We will not have another decade to see our school district lose another 27% of our student enrollment when compared to a decade ago. We have to analyze and study the primary contributors to declining enrollment and make addressing that a priority.

Win families back through stronger programs, responsive leadership, and schools that students are proud to attend.

Protect Public School Property

‘Public land for a public good.’

Keep public education land serving students and families. Florence Flanner should remain a public community asset—not be tied up in a 99-year private development deal.

Strong Academics and Student Support

Improve classroom outcomes while supporting students with disabilities, multilingual families, and students who need additional academic or mental-health resources.

Career and College Pathways

‘Learn by doing.’ Bring hands-on learning, outdoor learning, skilled apprenticeships, vocational training programs, and expand college readiness.

Expand skilled trades, career technical education, dual enrollment, FFA, health-care pathways, mariachi, folklórico, and other programs that connect learning to students’ futures.

Safe, Healthy, Green Schools

A community garden on every campus, joint use agreements that increase access to school facilities during non-instructional use.

Demand clean air, safe drinking water, healthy campuses, environmental literacy, and transparent responses to contamination or construction risks.

Transparent and Accountable Leadership

Listen to parents, employees, and students before major decisions are made. Public resources should be managed openly and in the community’s interest.
